Financial Aid Application

Financial Aid

Maayan is proud to offer great education to the children of the greater Portland Jewish community.  Maayan offers need based financial aid.  If you are interested in enrolling your child in Maayan and are concerned about financial feasibility, we encourage you to apply for financial aid.

The application process for financial aid is confidential and respectful of privacy. It takes place in spring, after you register.  Upon request, we will forward you all necessary information. You can also be in touch with our rabbinic dean, Rabbi Brodkin, to discuss your family’s needs.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Maayan admits qualified students, staff, and faculty of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs. Maayan does not discriminate in its employment practices to the teaching or other staff.

Maayan is proud to be a partner with the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland in its Rite Start Grant program. This grant pays up to $2000 for the first year of enrollment in a Jewish preschool.
