Welcome to Ilan Katan, Maayan's early childhood program!
Ilan Katan – Little Tree – is a name that inspires us to provide a nurturing environment that supports the healthy, joyful growth of every child. From seeds (babies) to saplings (Pre-K), Maayan’s Ilan Katan provides an integrated, research-based curriculum in a warm, encouraging, and intentional atmosphere. We care for the whole child and ensure that each individual is seen, heard, nurtured, and loved for exactly who they are.

Ilan Katan teachers blend the Tools of the Mind approach with Fingerprints: Discovering Jewish Life. Tools classrooms are alive with rich intentional make-believe play and children are busy building the foundational skills they’ll need for school and life. Every activity includes opportunities to develop critical self-regulation and social skills while targeting learning essentials like language, literacy, math and more. Combined with Fingerprints content that follows the cycle, values, and joys of the Jewish year, Ilan Katan students receive the kind of early childhood experiences that lovingly prepare them for all aspects of what’s to come.
